Inquiry Sundays provide opportunities for shared meditative inquiry into the nature of mind, truth and freedom that aim to create a space for shared presence and transformative insight.


This winter, Swanwick Centre will be offering A PROGRAM OF SPIRITUAL FILMS, DIALOGUES AND SHARED INQUIRY on Sunday afternoons during the months of December, January and February, from 1-5 pm.  Each event starts at 2 pm and, after tea and cookies, is followed by the opportunity for shared inquiry or otherwise to enjoy books or DVDs of interest, or stroll along the Centre’s lovely nature trails. There is no charge for these events, but donations are welcome.

The scheduled events and dates are as follows:

Dec. 5: "Abide as the Self - The Essential Teachings of Ramana Maharshi", with Ram Dass

Dec. 19:  “Awaken to the Eternal: Nisargadatta Maharaj – A Journey of  Self-Discovery”

Jan. 2    DVD: "The Challenge of Change" - The Life and Teachings of J. Krishnamurti

 
Jan. 9    Dialogue: "What is Enlightenment?  Exploring the attributes of the Absolute"

Jan. 16  DVD:  "Leap!":  A movie on awakening

Jan. 23  Dialogue:  "Oneness and Individuality: What is their relationship?"

Jan. 30  Dialogue:  "The Heart of Work: Willfulness, Surrender, and bringing Oneness into the Workplace"

Feb. 6   DVD:  "Who's Driving the Dream Bus?" - Interviews with various non-dual teachers

Feb. 13  Dialogue:  "What is Love?:  Oneness and human relationships"

Feb. 20  DVD:  "Living Luminaries":  Interviews with western spiritual teachers, including Eckhart Tolle

 
Feb. 27  Dialogue:  "Oneness and Psychotherapy:  Can there be a symbiotic relationship?"

 

The NEWLY EXPANDED RESOURCE CENTRE will also be open Sundays from 1-5 pm for anyone interested in inspiring readings or DVDs, connecting with like-minded spirits over tea, or going for a nature stroll.  Please note, however, that the Centre will be closed on Boxing Day, December 26.
